Each year the Conference Executive Committee selects individuals to receive a Distinguished Service Award. This award is presented in recognition of their dedication and exceptional contributions of professional expertise to ensure the continued success of the International Conference on Thermal Treatment Technologies.

Incineration and Thermal Treatment Technologies
The Research Committee on Energy, Environment and Waste (RCEEW) of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the International Conference on Thermal Treatment Technologies (IT3) have initiated an award called the Incineration and Thermal Treatment Technologies Pioneer Award. The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding leaders and sustained contributors as well as to encourage young engineers and students in the field of and Thermal Treatment Technologies throughout the world. The recipient of this annual award will be recognized at the IT3 Conference luncheon. The award is aimed to provide public recognition of the recipient’s work in the Incineration and Thermal Treatment community.
